FOR HIS GLORY

OPENING PRAYER

Father, we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your word, let there be light and let our faith cometh in the name of Yeshua.

FOR HIS GLORY

Sometimes I wondered why God waited for the three Hebrew boys (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) to be thrown into the fiery furnace before he showed up.

I wonder why He waited for Daniel to be thrown into the lion’s den before he showed up.

I wonder why He waited four more days for Lazarus to die before he showed up.

Why did you led the Israelite towards the red sea when none of them can swim?

Why would you allow the ark of the covenant to be taken away by the uncircumcised Philistine?

Or why he chooses David to fight Goliath without any armor but a sling and a stone.

Sometimes we ask God why was my battle so great or so long? Question, question, question.

The disciples of Yeshua one day asked this similar question Lord why was this man born blind?

John 9:1-3

1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

And the Lord answered them and said, “that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”  This is the same as FOR GOD

TO BE GLORIFIED.

Everything God does, no matter how foolish it may seem is FOR HIS GLORY.

When Yeshua heard about the sickness of Lazarus, He said this is for the glory of God.

John 11:3-4

3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

In the case of Pharaoh God said I hardened Pharaoh’s hearth to get me glory

Exodus 14:4

4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord. And they did so.

God said I want you to go through the red sea so I will get glory over pharaoh and all the host of Egyptian.

This same way God will get glory over your unrelentless and unrepentant pursuer if don’t quit.

As a genuine child of God whatever you are passing through, it is FOR HIS GLORY.

In the fire, in the water, in the sea, in the storm, in prison, in the graveyard, wherever, whatever God is there, and He is not just there as an onlooker, but He is there to get glory for himself.

Isaiah 43:2

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

David said even in the valley of the shadow of death, I will not be afraid because God is in it.

Psalm 23:4

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

God is delighted in taking glory over the wicked, taking glory over all circumstances. Anything you are doing no matter how good it is if you are not going to give the glory to God, he will not be part of it.

In all the questions at the beginning of this book we will see that God took glory in all the cases.

For Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego the fire had no power on them, because the fourth man was in the fire and God was exalted above all other gods in that province.

Daniel 3:25-28

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

What have you?

King Nebuchadnezzar worshipped the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

For Daniel the lions became his friend, simply because he looks like the Lion Tribe of Judah, he was taken out gloriously, but the king was curious to see if his lion were still ok, so he ordered Daniels accuser to go into the den to confirm this, they were destroyed before they get to the bottom of the den.

Daniel 6:19-28

19 Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste unto the den of lions.

20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

23 Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

What else could a man wished for? Daniel was delivered, his accusers were eaten by the lions and God took all the glory.

So, God will take glory in all your situation in the name of Yeshua. Amen.

Prayers:

Father, for your glory do the impossible in my life in the name of Yeshua.

Father, for your glory make the fire of world of noneffective in my life in the name of Yeshua.

Father, for you glory shut the mouth of the young lions assigned against me in the name of Yeshua.

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
