OPENING PRAYER
Father, we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your word, let there be light and let our faith cometh in the name of Yeshua.

 FOR YOUR HELP, LOOK UP
Psalm 121:1-2
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
One of the principal organs in the body is the eye. God has given them to us to see but where we look and what we see have a great impact on our life.
Where are you looking at for help today?
David in psalm 121 decided to look up. Because he believed that is where help can come from.
There are several places where men can find help, but the true help comes from above, comes from God.
FIVE PLACES TO LOOK FOR HELP
Other than looking up there are four other places we can look to for solutions, but the end thereof is not good.
1 Look backward, 2 Look forward, 3 Look around, 4 Look down, and 5 Look up.
1 Look backward.
If you look back you will see your life of the past, your successes as well as your failure.
You see missed opportunity, failure and disappointment or you might think you have arrived and relax.
You will also remember the offences and hurt of the past and a fresh surge of bitterness, hatred and vengefulness would rise up in you.
What you get most time is anxiety, depression, regret, and disappointment.
Isaiah 43:18-19
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Don’t dwell in the past, God said keep moving forward even if there seems to be no way.
Exodus 14:15
15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
In this journey with God, you don’t look back no matter what.
Luke 9:62
62 And Yeshua said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Lot’s wife looks back and she became a pillar of salt.
Genesis 19:26
26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
2 Looking forward.
When you look forward you do see Goliath, you see red sea, and you see walls of Jericho which might intimidate you.
A preoccupation with the future leads to anxieties and fears.
Yeshua advises us not to worry about tomorrow either.
Matthew 6:34
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
David did not look at the size of Goliath but rather he looks up and said boldly to Goliath that I come against you in the name of the Lord who is the man of war.
1 Samuel 17:45-47
45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.
When we say have faith or be hopeful. We meant look up to the Lord, we meant have faith in God.
3 Looking around
If you look around, see the news, you will see the storms of life, natural and unnatural disasters, man’s inhumanity to man, wars, economic difficulties, epidemics, pandemics, and terrorist attacks. What you’d get is discouragement and fear.
Do you remember what happened to Peter on the sea when he shifted his gaze from Yeshua to look at the storms? He started to sink, and terror seized him.
Matthew 14:29-31
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Yeshua.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Yeshua stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Looking at parents, siblings, friends and relations for help is all foolish things to do, seek God first he can use anybody to help you.
Micah 7:5-6
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
4 Looking down
This is where the devil wants you to look at in the first place, he wants to keep you suppressed.
If you look down, what do you see? The ground. Remember, the ground has been cursed due to the sin of Adam and Eve. So, what you’d see is fruitless toil, failure, stagnation, and lack of progress.
Of course, if you look down well, you’d also see Satan the devil, because that is where he belongs, he is supposed to be under our feet.
Romans 16:20
20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
If you now look to him, he will give you what he has, lies, deception, counterfeit miracles, short-changing and more.
Looking down also symbolizes defeat, resignation, or shame.
Do not look down, your help cannot come from there.
5 Look up
Yeshua at tomb of Lazarus looks up for help from God and He got it (John 11:41-44).
No matter what is happening my brethren, keep your heads up. That is where your help can come from.
Hebrews 12:2
2 Looking unto Yeshua the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
No matter what you are passing through always look up.
Keep your head up.
Prayers
Agenda of the enemies to keep my head down, fail in the name of Yeshua.
I receive grace to keep looking up at all times for my help in the name of Yeshua.
Father, send help in every area of my life in the name of Yeshua.
ALTAR CALL
First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure.
(Say this prayers).
Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
