Father, we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your word, let there be light and let our faith cometh in the name of Yeshua.

GIVING

This week the holiday week is the week of giving.

WHAT IS GIVING?

Giving is the act of transferring something to another person, body, or organization. This can be in the form of a.

GIFT: Giving to someone without the expectation of receiving something in return.

GENEROSITY: Giving habitually to people without expecting anything in return.

CHARITY: Giving of help to those in needs.

OFFERING: These includes your tithes and offering to the church.

Giving can be material (Money, clothes, food, cars, house and more) or immaterial (time, advice, love and more).

Today I am going to focus on the reasons and benefits of giving to others.

GIVING IS OF GOD, AND IS BASED ON LOVE

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Like God men tends to give based on love.

GIVING IS FOR YOU

When we give, we get.

Luke 6:38

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

All your giving will eventually manifest in your heavenly account and God will keep supplying all your needs.

Philippians 4:15-19

15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

When you give you increase.

Proverbs 11:24-26

24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

In this season of giving, give something.

Prayer:

Father in the name of Yeshua I give you all of me, take over in the name of Yeshua.

ALTAR CALL

First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure.

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
