OPENING PRAYER

Father, we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your word, let there be light and let our faith cometh in the name of Yeshua.

Amen!

GO TO WAR WITH THE MAN OF WAR.

Last week of the month of December is the week to go to WAR.

2 Samuel 11:1

11 And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.

As a believer you do not need to wait for the beginning of new year to go to war, in fact the battle never stops but leaning on the man of war constantly, particularly at the edge of crossing over will guarantee victory on the other side. For the Lord is a man of war.

Exodus 15:3

3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

The best time to launch for the new year is at the end of the old year, for our enemies know that most of us always wait for the new year to wage war.

As you can see from the scripture above “after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle” at the tail end of the year when kings go forth to battle.

The kings, in the olden days goes to war at the tail end of the year. They do so for several reasons.

One of the reasons is to avoid carry over, and we as a believer must adopt this system to avoid carry over of sickness, failure, debts, and all unwanted things in our life.

We must begin our fervent prayer and fasting 7, 3 or 1 days to the new year and cancel all these unwanted things in the spirit realm before we cross over to the new year.

Though they might still be there in the physical but as long as you pray and believe you will get your answer now or in the following year.

Mark 11:24

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Another reason is to stop them before they stop you, for the enemies will never stop and besides they increase the tempo of battles at the end of the year to fulfilled and accomplished their mission for the year and also to take over your coming year.

As long as you are still not dead physically, you are not stopped, and everything is possible. Deliverance, restoration, redemption, recovery and resurrection are possible.

We are to possess their gate and not the other way round, when you take the battle to the gate of your enemies at the end of the year, they will know you are not joking.

Genesis 22:17

17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

But when you decide to relax and refuse to fight in the end of the year, the enemy will strike, as we all know what happened to king David for not going to war at the end of the year (2 Samuel 11).

King David fell for temptation, he committed adultery and in order to cover it up he committed murder, one thing led to another.

Another reason is to lose the angels of destruction upon the enemies that will not let go.

At the first ever pass over night the children of Israel fought with the blood of the Lamb which for us now is the blood of Yeshua and the Lord smote the Egyptian in their first born (Exodus 12:21-28). 

Another reason is to demand our rights, our entitlements and recover all the enemies has stolen from us as we are crossing over.

As we are crossing over this year, we must not go empty handed we must demand our rights, the Israelites did not leave Egypt empty handed they demand of Egyptians of all they have stolen from them.

Exodus 12:35-36

35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

And final reason is to have peace in the coming year. When you refuse to fight bind and lose before the beginning of the new year, your new year will be filled with much trouble and sorrows.

Whether you like it or not there will always be a storm at the border of cross over, especially if you are passing over to the higher ground (Mark 4:35-41). You need praises, prayer and fasting to still this storm.

Mark 4:35-41

35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Prayers:

I apply the blood of Yeshua over my life, my family, my properties and belonging in the name of Yeshua.

I refuse to carryover battles to the new year in the name of Yeshua.

Father, stop them before they stop me in the name of Yeshua.

Angel of destruction, destroy anything that will hinder me to serve God in this coming year in the name of Yeshua.

Satan, I demand seven-fold restoration of all you have stolen from me in the name of Yeshua.

Every storm that has plague my life and every storm that will rise on my journey to the new year be still in the name of Yeshua. Amen.

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
