MONTH OF NEWNESS 

MONTH TO FOCUS AND HARKING UNTO GOD

Third month is also a month of NEWNESS, and it is also the month to focus and harking unto God. In the third month God told the Israelites to obey and keep His covenant and they shall be priest to all nations.

Exodus 19:1-6

1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

3 And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

OPENING PRAYER

Father, we thank you for this New Year, we thank you also for last year and we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your words. Father, let the light in your words lightens our life and let our faith cometh as we hear your words in the name of Yeshua.

Amen!

Today we continue with our series NEWNESS and the topic today is NEW GARMENT.

NEW GARMENT

Matthew 9:16

16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

Cloth symbolizes covering in every area of life, which can be a source of protection, and blessings.

Cloth covers our nakedness physically and spiritually. Adam and Eve initially were naked but not ashamed for God covers them spiritually. But when they sinned, they were naked and covers themselves with figs.

Genesis 3:7

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

But God in his mercy give them a better covering of coats of skins.

Genesis 3:21

21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Our spiritual clothe is our armor, we are advice to always put on the whole armor.

Ephesians 6:11

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Cloth also is the image of man and the image of what you represent.

The cloth you wear in the spirit realm shows who you are representing and identifies the authority you are carrying, for example a priest are recognized by their garment and are identified with police officers are recognized by their uniform, so do military men and are identified with law enforcement authorities.

The clothe you are wearing in the spirit realm determines the level of your authority in life and the level of your authority determines the level of your reigning in life.

Many of us are still clothed with the old garment because of unbroken covenants and some of us put the new garment over the old garment and cannot function well for like a dog we still go back to our vomit.

Old garment, garment of reproach or filthy garment will hinder us from fulfilling our destiny and will take out authority. A police officer in a mufti and without ID is as good as an ordinary man.

Joshua was powerful but he was hindered with filthy garment until God removed it and change his raiment.

Zechariah 3:1-5

1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lordthat hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.

With our correct garment on we can stand our ground in the battles of this world.

Ephesians 6:11-18

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

With new cloth on your new man, you will reign in life with Yeshua and with authority you will decree a thing, and it shall be established.

Job 22:28-29

28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

Prayers

Father, remove from my life every garment of reproach in the name of Yeshua.

Father in your mercy you still change the Adam and Eve cloth from figs to coats, Father in your mercy change my raiment in my life in the name of Yeshua.

Holy Ghost fire regardless of Satan burn to ashes every garment of reproach in my life in the name of Yeshua.

First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure.

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
