MONTH OF PREPARATION

OPENING PRAYER

Father, we thank you for this New Year, we thank you also for last year and we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your words. Father, let the light in your words lightens our life and let our faith cometh as we hear your words in the name of Yeshua.

Amen!

Today we continue with our series NEWNESS and the topic today is NEW THING

NEW THING

Isaiah 42:9

9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Our God is the God of a new things, he does new things every day.

Isaiah 43:18-19

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

To be able to see what God is doing we need to see and follow the instructions on the above scriptures carefully.

In Revelation 21:3 Yeshua assures the believers that he makes all things new by saying these words are true and faithful.

In Isaiah 42:9 God is telling us that old prophecy has come to pass and I will declare a new thing which I will also prophecy in your ear. So, all we need is to believe that this too will come to pass.

The most interesting is Isaiah 43:18-19, verse 18 says “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”

Here we are told not to live in the past, most times we can’t see the new things that God is doing because we are living in the “good old days”, blinded by the past.

This verse is not telling us to be forgetful, it is ok to remember the past for experience’s sake but not to camp there it is time to move on.

You remember the past to only for correction and not for regretting.

For example, like Paul wrote in Philippians 4:6

Philippians 4:6

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

This does not say we should be careless, but we should not be anxious or fearful of anything.

Good or bad we are meant to reflect on the past with gratitude to God. Not in complaining about what you have or what you don’t have. In gratitude God will do a new thing in your life.

When you doubt, complain, or murmur you either delay your miracle or deny it. No matter what you are going through keep the faith.

James 1:6-7

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

This know that without the fire you cannot be gold.

1 Peter 1:6-7

6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Without the threading and beating your olive cannot bring good oil.

Leviticus 24:2

2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

Without dying you cannot live.

John 12:24-25

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

In verse 19 of that Isaiah 43 it says “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Did you see what God is doing today? Or you are overwhelmed with the past?

Even today He has done a new thing, He added another day to your life. Halleluyah.

There are people who can tell you what went on in their lives in the past, but they cannot tell you what God is doing today.

Though we might not see it now, but God is doing a new thing every day.

Beloved God is doing a new thing, new things in our lives, new things in the world.

He loaded us with benefits on daily basis.

Psalm 68:19

19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Today He has given us new mercies and compassions.

Lamentations 3:22-23

22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

 For making this day possible is a new thing we should be graceful for.

Psalm 118:24

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

And not only so, but He also promised us miracles of new things, He said “I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

God will make a way when we think it is impossible.  Just like in the red sea, there is absolutely no way for the Israelites to pass through. But He make a way. This is possible because he is the way, the truth, and the life.

John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Is there a situation in your life that seems impossible? He will make a way.

Look at this.

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

He will make a way to escape. Halleluyah!

Another miracle is rivers in the desert.

God is telling us again that he will make the impossible possible in our life. He has done it before He will do it again.

Things that are impossible for men are possible with him.

 Matthew 19:26

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

He brought water out the rock for the children of Israelites.

Exodus 17:6

6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

You don’t know what is next in your life, all seems dim, you are confused.

Don’t give up yet, get to the end of this book and pray the deliverance prayers at the end, as God will intervene in your situation.

Watch this.

Three kings were in a battle with Moabite and their water were used up, nothing was left for their host and their cattle. God intervene and they got a miracle.

2 Kings 3:17-18

17 For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.

18 And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.

You will not see rain, you will not see wind, yet your valley shall be filled with waters.

Don’t think about how this will happen, just keep doing the right thing and keep your minds and hearts open to what God is doing and what He wants to do in your life and having faith that he will do a new thing.

Let Him do a new thing in your in your heart, home, marriage, job, church, school, and Community.

And for us personally to do a new thing we need fire and power.

Acts 10:38

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Always ask God to baptize you with fire and power.

Prayers:

Father, I thank you for loving me help me to love you in return in the name of Yeshua.

Father, you are the God of new thing do a new thing in my life in the name of Yeshua.

Father, you are the God of miracle give me a miracle this day, this week, and this month in the name of Yeshua.

Father, give me new power and authority to overcome and control all new challenges in the name of Yeshua.

Father, you are the mighty man in battle I surrender all to you fight the battles of my life in the name of Yeshua.

Every wall of Jericho standing on my way of progress fall in the name of Yeshua.

Amen!
