MONTH OF NEWNESS
MONTH TO FOCUS AND HARKING UNTO GOD 

Third month is also a month of NEWNESS, and it is also the month to focus and harking unto God. In the third month God told the Israelites to obey and keep His covenant and they shall be priest to all nations. 

Exodus 19:1-6 

1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount. 

3 And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. 

5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. 

OPENING PRAYER 

Father, we thank you for this New Year, we thank you also for last year and we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you 

are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your words. Father, let the light in your words lightens our life and let our faith cometh as we hear your words in the name of Yeshua. 

Amen! 

Today we continue with our series NEWNESS and the topic today is NEW WINE 

NEW WINE 

Wine is a spirit and is used in the bible as the opposite of the Holy Spirit. 

Ephesians 5:18 

18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 

While New Wine is symbolic of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father to everyone that accept Yeshua as his Lord and savior and we are told wait for it. 

Luke 24:49 

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 

But Holy Spirit cannot be given to us unless we are born again and not just born again but living a holy life for, he will not stay in unholy life, and that is what Yeshua is talking about in Mathew 9:17. 

Matthew 9:17 

17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. 

The new wine was put on Saul’s old bottles and could not stay because he was not made new before the new wine. 

1 Samuel 10:6 

6 And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. 

And the moment King Saul disobey God the Spirit left and went to David. 

1 Samuel 16:13-14 

13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. 

14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. 

You must obey and agree with the Holy Spirit so you can walk together. 

Amos 3:3 

3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? 

Other than holiness, obedience, and agreement there are other prices to pay for a new wine to be made out of you. 

You must be able to wait until you are sure of the new wine. 

Luke 24:49 

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 

Psalm 110:1 

1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 

Psalm 27:14 

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. 

Wait without questioning.

Habakkuk 2:3 

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 

You must be able to endure afflictions, persecution, hardships, and tribulation for they are all needed for the new wine to be made. 

Psalm 34:19 

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. 

2 Timothy 4:5 

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 

Not just endure you must be willing to endure till the end. 

Matthew 24:13 

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 

And you must be able to wait without complain but trust. 

Job 13:15 

15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. 

For in the crushing, in the pressing a new wine is made. As gold is tried to be gold, so your faith will be tried but you will come out shine at the end. 

1 Peter 1:7 

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 

Whatever you are passing through if you can wait, if you can endure, he will bring a new wine out of you.  

Galatians 6:9 

9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 

And when the new wine comes you become a blessing, because there are blessings in Holy spirit. 

Isaiah 65:8 

8 Thus saith the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all. 

New wine is associated with power to be fruitful, is associated with harvest and fruitfulness. 

Nehemiah 13:12 

12 Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. 

Hence the Holy Spirit is the power to witness. 

Acts 1:8 

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 

Your new wine must be renewed not just once or twice but regularly, for like a phone is used up and recharged regularly so you must keep recharging. May God help you. Amen. 

Prayer 

Father, in your mercy make a new wine out of me in the name of Yeshua. 

I receive grace to keep increasing in faith, power, strength, and love of God in the name of Yeshua. 

Stiff necked power resisting Holy Spirit in my life, I rebuke and resist you by the power of God flee in the name of Yeshua. 

Stiff-necked and uncircumcised powers of my father’s/mother’s house, of my in-law’s house resisting or blocking the Holy Spirit in my life come out in the name of Yeshua. 

ALTAR CALL 

First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure. 

(Say this prayers). 

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
