OPENING PRAYER

Father, we thank you for this New Year, we thank you also for last year and we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your words. Father, let the light in your words lightens our life and let our faith cometh as we hear your words in the name of Yeshua.

Amen!

WEEK 2

PREPARATION

Week 2 is the week of preparation.

If there is anything we need more at the beginning of a new year, it is power and authority to see us through the year.

And one of the ways to this power is by waiting on the Lord which is exactly what we are doing in this fasting period.

WAITING ON THE LORD

Waiting on the Lord is crucial to receiving the power of God and waiting is not just for a season, but like praying is a continuous process. Waiting on the Lord is tarry in his presence with prayer and fasting for a period of time. It is a sure way of getting power, strength, momentum, spiritual energy, authority and dominion.

Fasting is a spiritual exercise, as we all know that bodily exercise gives us strength more so the spiritual exercise gives us bigger strength.

1 Timothy 4:8

8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

As a believer, our living, our means of existence in life is not by food alone, but by the word of God.

Matthew 4:4

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

And we need more of the word of God than of the food, for the spiritual control the physical.

First thing Yeshua told His disciples before He ascend to heaven is to wait in Jerusalem until they are endued with power.

Luke 24:49

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

You cannot go out there until your enemies are subdue unto you in the spirit realm by God, until you are given the rod of thy strength to rule in the midst of the enemies or else, they will waste you.

Psalm 110:1-2

1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Waiting is a continuous process, we are to wait again and again to increase and keep renewing our used power.

Isaiah 40:29-31

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Wait on the Lord be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord (Psalm 27:14).

And as we continue in this journey, I pray that we will never wait in vain in the name of Yeshua.

Prayer

Ask for power to be able to do all things through Yeshua in this New Year.

In this New Year I receive power to do all things, power to excel, power to run ahead, power to fly, power that cannot be overcome, power that cannot be hemorrhaged, power that cannot be robbed, power to receive help, power of success, power of breakthroughs, power to make sales, power to get members, power of good health, power to sustain me, power to uphold me, power of retention, power to pullback and draw back all my virtues, power to establish me, power to defend me, power to avenge me, power to pursue, overtake and recover all, power of prosperity, power to pay all my debts, power to see in the spirit realm, power to get destiny helpers, to find soul mate, power that cannot be attacked, power to overcome all my adversaries, power of fulfillment, power that cannot be stopped, power that cannot be insulted, power to fight and win in the dreams, powers to cancel evil dreams, power that destroy curses, power to nullify evil projections, power of immunity, power to destroy the works of the enemies, power to frustrate my attackers, power of good fortune, power of good dreams, power of increase, power to stop my enemies, power that cannot be moved, power to stand, power of holiness, power and authority to overcome in life always, power of miracles in the name of Yeshua.

Note: We are all created for a particular thing but power to do all things is for you to be able to handle all challenges that the enemies might bring your way, and it is Him (Yeshua) that will do it through you. Amen.

First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure.

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
