WEEK 3
PREPARATION 2
Week 3 is also the week of preparation.
And what are we doing to prepare for the year? Waiting on the Lord.
WAITING ON THE LORD
Waiting is what everybody in life does not really like. But whether we like it or not waiting is a constant life phenomenon.
We wait to be born, we wait to grow up, we wait to go to school, we wait to be graduated, we wait to get married, we wait to have our own children, and the wait continue.
But none of these waits can be compared to the waiting on the Lord, for this is what will make all other wait a worthwhile.
Waiting on the Lord might be tedious, tiring, and boring but at the end of it all we realize that He is worth waiting for.
Particularly if you have been waiting and you never receive anything from God, you might get tired and be discouraged.
Proverbs 13:12
12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
The scripture above says it, truly when your hope is delayed you will be miserable, but it says also that when your desire come it is a tree of life.
Your desire can only come when you continue to wait on Him, for He is faithful even when we are no longer faithful.
2 Timothy 2:13
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Do not get tired, for God will surely come, He is never late, keep waiting.
Galatians 6:9
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.
King David said he had almost fainted, but it is the faith of what lies ahead that keep him going and he now encourage us to wait on the Lord for He will see us through even at the point of breaking.
Psalm 27:13-14
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
God has His appointed time for His children, but He cannot give strong meat for a baby and His timing is not the same as our timing, His timing has to do with our experience and relationship with Him.
The earlier you start and the deeper you go with Him determines your timing.
Now is the time to start so that your appointed time or your due season can be soon, at this time you should be a teacher and not a student.
This time you should be taking strong meat and not milk and strong meat is prayer and fasting to build our spiritual muscles.
Hebrews 5:12-14
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
This is not about physical age but about our depth in God.
If Abraham could obtain the promise after 99 years, somehow you will obtain it too.
Hebrews 6:13-20
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Habakkuk made up his mind to wait for God to reveal his purpose on earth for him, he said I will stand until I am approved, and the Lord told him that the vision is for an appointed time and the Lord encourage him to wait for it might be longer than he expected but it will surely come.
Habakkuk 2:1-3
1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Just a little more patient, as we are waiting, believe and all the promises will come, the promise of the Holy Spirit, the promise of power and authority, including also, the promise of the second coming.
Hebrews 10:36-37
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
As our Lord has thought us, we ought always to pray and not faint.
Luke 18:1
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
And in this parable, He compare us with a window going to an unjust judge everyday with the same request “Avenge me of my adversary” and the judge eventually avenge her because of her persistence.
And He said so God will avenge us if we persist, though it might take a long time, He will avenge us.
Luke 18:7-8
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Prayer:
Father, encourage me to continue waiting on you in the name of Yeshua.
I receive the grace to wait on the Lord always in the name of Yeshua.
I receive power that cannot be arrested, imprisoned, limited, retarded, exchanged, troubled, traded, induced, seduced, swallowed, blinded, killed, summoned, initiated, possessed, monitored, bound, cobwebbed, programmed, afflicted, oppressed, attacked, dedicated, recreated, destroyed,, wounded, chastised, poisoned, used, charmed, manipulated, remote controlled, defiled, magnetized, inflamed, vibrated, tied, invoked, trapped, shaken, generated, penetrated, bewitched, cursed, rejected, impoverished, subjected and represented in the name of Yeshua.
ALTAR CALL
First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure.
(Say this prayers).
Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
