JANUARY

MONTH OF REFLECTION AND THANKSGIVING.

MONTH OF PREPARATION (PRAYER & FASTING).

MONTH OF BEGINNING OF NEW THINGS.

Exodus 12:1-19

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,

2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.

10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s passover.

12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.

13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

At the beginning of the new year there is a need to reflect and thank God for the past years, thank Him that you were able to cross over and finally thank Him for the new year.

As a believer we don’t have anything better to offer unto God than our praises and thanksgiving.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Giving, tithing and other sacrifices are good, but your praises and thanksgiving are the one that move His feet and arms, for that is His abode.

Psalm 22:3

3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Also, this month is the month of preparation for the rest of the year, and you do this by prayer and fasting, this is warfare.

Though the battles are the Lord’s, but we are the weapons and instruments He uses, and these instruments must be sharpened, polished and ready to be used.

Jeremiah 51:20-23

20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

21 And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;

22 With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;

23 I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

And finally, this month is the month of beginning of new things, you must ask God to do a new thing again in your life this new year.

Do not worry or reflect about the past failure but trusting God for the best as He has promised this new year.

Isaiah 43:18-19

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Our prayers this month are divided into three different categories.

First week is the week of REFLECTION AND THANKSGIVING.

 Second week, third week and fourth week is the week of PREPARATION.

 Fifth week is the week of NEWNESS.

 This must be done with fasting from the beginning of the month.

21 days food fasting, breaking by 6 pm every day.

21 days Daniel fasting (plant based only) breaking by 3 pm every day (Daniel 10:2-3).

3 days dry fasting (Esther 4:16, Acts 9:8-9) = 21 days food fasting.

7 days liquid and water fasting = 21 days food fasting.

You are allowed to fast till 12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm on the 21 days fasting and some are permitted to drink water before you break.

Your choice of fasting and timing depending on your ability. May the Lord help you.

 FIRST WEEK

 REFLECTION AND THANKSGIVING

 This week regardless of your situation count your blessings and thank God. Even if is for the gift of Him still keeping you alive. For there is hope for you and as you thank Him you will see Him swing into action this week.

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

 Thank him for everything He has done.

Prayer:

In addition to your personal prayers read Psalm 103:1-6 once every day of this week and thank Him in your own way.

Psalm 103:1-6

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

ALTAR CALL

First thing first you need to be born again if you are not or rededicate your life to Yeshua if you are not sure.

(Say this prayers).

Father in the name of Yeshua I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins, and I ask that you forgive me. I confess with my mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and I believe in my heart that he died for my sins and that Yahweh raised him from the dead. I declare that I will follow and serve Yeshua from now on and forever in the name of Yeshua. Amen!
