RESTORATION TO PERFECTION 4
OPENING PRAYER
Father, we thank you for this wonderful day, we thank you for everything particularly the gift of life. We bless your name for you are wonderful, also we thank you for this opportunity to hear your word, let there be light and let our faith cometh in the name of Yeshua.
We continue with our series “Restoration to Perfection” for the Month of July
We will continue with the 6 steps in the process of restoration
 STEP 2 SUFFERING
1 Peter 5:10
10 But the God of all grace, who hath (1) called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have (2) suffered a while, make you (6) perfect, (5) stablish, (3) strengthen, (4) settle you.
Many of us believed giving our life to Yeshua is the end of battles, struggle, problems, or tribulations in our life, no it is not so, giving our life is the beginning of a victory guaranteed battles in our life.
Life is a battle, when you give your life to Yeshua, he gives you the tools to fight the battle of life.
He is the only one that overcame the world, and he is the only one that can get you the victory.
Yeshua acknowledges there is going to be suffering but he said not to worry for we will overcome because he overcame.
John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Believers journey is not a smooth straight journey but rough, but God is there at every point to see you through.
Psalm 23:4
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
It is when you pass through and not if you pass through, for we will surely pass through fire and water, but he said when you pass through, I am passing through too and because I cannot die you will not die.
Isaiah 43:2
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
We only die in it when we keep him out of it, but we war by praising, praying, and giving glory to the one that has worn the battle and in so doing we will win the battles.
There are several things we need to know about suffering or several reasons for suffering, but I will mention a few.
1 suffering is part of life.
Suffering is part of life for either plant or animal, but there is always a means of adaptation provided by God to alleviate or remove this suffering.
But for believers the suffering is more intense because we are in a world presently controlled by Satan and Satan has vowed to make war with us till the end.
Revelation 12:17
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
In addition to the means of adaptation, when you give your life to God, he gives you the Holy Spirit and one of the fruits of the spirit is longsuffering to cope with the special suffering for believers.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
This longsuffering is what make you endure afflictions; it gives you patience in tribulation and wait in hoping.
2 Suffering is a prerequisite for God’s glory.
 2 Suffering is a prerequisite for all believers to successfully get to that glorious end.
Romans 8:16-17
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
No matter what we will suffer for a while.
1 Peter 5:10
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Yeshua, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
All those who suffers with him will partake also in his glory.
1 Peter 5:1
1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
This afflictions, light or heavy, long-time, or short time is for a greater glory.
 2 Corinthians 4:17
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
3 To build you up so you stand till the end.
Just like gold we are refined to shine, like olive we are beaten to bring out the best oil, we are pressed to bring out new wine.
1 Peter 1:7
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Yeshua Christ:
We are refined in the furnace of affliction.
Isaiah 48:10
10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
Affliction build your patience.
James 1:2-3
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Through afflictions you get life experience which will in turn benefits you and others.
Romans 5:3-5
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
 4 To show the overcoming power of God.
There will be afflictions and persecutions, but you will overcome all.
Isaiah 59:15-16
15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lordsaw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
Psalm 34:19
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
2 Timothy 3:10-12
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Yeshua shall suffer persecution.
John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
5 To bring you closer to God.
Psalm 119:67
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
 Psalm 119:71
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
 Hebrews 12:6-7
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
 Psalm 118:18
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
6 Finally we suffer when God chastise us for wrongdoing.
Sometimes it is the Lord that is chastising us for wrongdoing and not the devil, because he loves us and want us to come to repentance.
Hebrews 12:6-7
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
This does not go until you come back to the right path, and this not to kill you but to bring you back from destruction.
‘Psalm 118:18
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
YOUR RESPONSE AT THIS LEVEL
At this level from all the experiences and lesson learnt from your suffering, you will see partially where your battle is coming from and what kind of battle you are fighting, and it is time to address those arears.
DELIVERANCE AND WARFARE
This time you need regular personal deliverance, this is no time to sleep or going about different churches or seeking different pastors, you must wake up and fight by yourself, “deliver thyself as roe from the hand of the hunter.”
Proverbs 6:4-11
4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.
5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.
If the battle is beyond you, you can seek higher anointing from a genuine man of God but be careful, so you don’t complicate the battle.

Let the Lord leads you, for it is the Lord’s battle and not yours and no battle is beyond God, for in due season you will win if you did not give up.
PRAY MERCY PRAYERS REGULARLY
Mercy prayers is a deliverance on its own, for in the case of mercy you don’t need to know the source of the problem for you already agree that you are guilty of all sins including your ancestors and all you want is mercy.
If the problem is from the enemies, it is easy for mercy for mercy triumph over the judgements.
James 2:13
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
If the problem is from God, it is easy for mercy for it is because of mercy we are not consumed.
Lamentations 3:22-23
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
As long as you repent genuinely and forsake your sin and keep asking for mercy you will receive mercy if you did not quit.
WARFARE PRAYERS
At this level you must engage the enemies in warfare prayers, enemies you cannot confront you cannot overcome.
You must be bold like a lion, though the battle is won but we must still fight to proof to God which side we belong, and it is your violent praises and prayer that will move the hand of the one that get the victory.

James 5:16
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
We are to pray without ceasing (Luke 18:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:16).
Prayer
Father, deliver me from all afflictions in the name of Yeshua.
Father, I have suffered with your son, let my time of glory begins now in the name of Yeshua.
